What should I do when I am pulled over or stopped by the police?

DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS!

Often times when you are pulled over, the police do not have enough evidence to arrest you. It is their job to extract information from you that can help bolster their case. DO NOT MAKE THEIR JOB EASIER. You have the right to refuse any and all field sobriety tests and you have the right to remain silent to avoid self incrimination.

Marijuana

YOU CAN'T DRIVE STONED!

Marijuana will be legal in Illinois, effective January 1, 2020, but that does not mean that police officers can't or won't still use it against you.

Divorce Cases

I know my marriage is over, but where do I start?

Take a breath. No divorce is going to be finalized over night. So contact Lofgren Legal so we can advise you how to start getting your affairs in order. You do not want to wait, especially if your spouse has already contacted an attorney.

Do not trust what you see on TV with Judge Judy. The real world is unpredictable and divorces are no different. Our job is to help you navigate that unpredictability. Let us fight for you so that you leave us looking forward instead of looking back.
